| Amelia feels no pressure |

Palermo goalkeeper Marco Amelia feels no pressure from Alberto Fontana, according to his agent Carlo Pallavicino.
The 26-year-old joined the Rosanero this summer as a replacement for the ageing Fontana, but several erratic performances have led to speculation that he may lose his place in the starting 11.
Its not true that Marco suffers from the pressure of Fontana, insisted Pallavicino. I really do not believe it.
Why? For the simple reason that Marco already has made more than 10 appearances with Italy despite having a certain Gigi Buffon in front of him and has had other experiences of a very high level.
Pallavicino was willing to admit, however, that Amelia needed some time to adapt to his new surroundings.
At the beginning of the year, Marco had some difficulty. He did not have a problem in terms of performances, but only at an environmental level.
Those who know Amelia understand that one of his principal characteristics is that of feeling strong mentally.
Palermo probably still has to get to know him. He is not your typical player who does his bit and thats it. He is one who gives his contribution on and off the pitch.
The Sicilian outfit currently lie tenth in Serie A, having conceded 21 goals in the opening 17 games of the season.
