Catania boss Walter Zenga insists Nicolae Dica remains in his plans despite rumours linking him with a move back to Romania.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined the Elefanti from Steaua Bucharest in the summer, but has failed to hold down a starting place.
Our No. 10 has to know that his future is with Catania, said Zenga who famously coached Steaua between 2004 and 2005.
I have spoken with him many times and I hope that he listens to me because at the moment there are no conditions for his return to Romania.
Nicolae has all my trust and respect and I am convinced that he could be very important to the team in the second half of the season.
Dica has made just three appearances in Serie A for Catania and is concerned that his lack of playing time is threatening his place in the Romania side.
