| Trombetta saved by Cluj U-turn |

Italian Coach Maurizio Trombetta has been handed a stay of execution by Romanian side CFR Cluj.
Trombetta shot to fame in the peninsula when he guided minnows Cluj to a historic win over Roma in the Champions League.
But things haven't gone so smoothly since and Cluj were eliminated from Europe after finishing bottom of Champions League Group A.
With the upwardly mobile outfit third in Romania's Liga 1, President Iuliu Muresan declared that he had sacked Trombetta last week.
"There's no room for patience because we are so ambitious," he said. "We will be looking for a new boss from another European League."
However, it has been announced today that after a sensational U-turn Trombetta will remain in charge until the end of the season.
