| Amelia: Palermo duo for Azzurri |

Palermo goalkeeper Marco Amelia has backed Rosanero defenders Moris Carrozzieri and Cesare Bovo for Marcello Lippi's Italy.
The Sicilians shocked Milan yesterday, beating the Rossoneri 3-1 to damage their Scudetto chances.
Amelia was the hero for Palermo as he stopped a Ronaldinho penalty at 0-0, but he turned the praise towards his teammates.
“I think Carrozzieri is an excellent defender and so is Bovo,” the former Livorno No 1 declared.
“Our central defensive partnership is well balanced and they have different qualities.
“One is more physical and the other more technical and capable of anticipating and reading the game.
“I think that with time Lippi will notice them if they can manage to keep this form up.”
