Ivan Cordoba was surprised and delighted at being the Nerazzurri's unlikely goal hero against Napoli.
The leaders were made to fight hard for a 2-1 triumph over the Partenopei with Cordoba scoring the first goal.
The Colombian ace celebrated his 14th goal for Inter in nine years with an acrobatic celebration.
“I'm very happy,” Cordoba gushed after the final whistle.
“I just found myself in the right place at the right time and was able to take my chance.
“But the main thing is the team's performance and the character we showed to defend the result against a side as strong as Napoli.
“These three points were an important sign for us. It shows that we are working well and we must continue to do so until the end of the season.”
