Milan’s injury crisis approaching tonight’s Juventus battle gets worse with news Mathieu Flamini and Kaka are in doubt.
The Brazilian was already on the potential injury list after pulling up with a muscular problem during Friday’s training session.
Carlo Ancelotti admitted Kaka was “a doubt” and that “the only player guaranteed a starting spot is Flamini.”
He may well have spoken too soon, as the former Arsenal midfielder is struggling with a knock to the ankle he sustained in the final training session.
Flamini is needed to fill the void left by Gennaro Gattuso, who is out for up to six months with damaged knee ligaments.
The good news is that Massimo Ambrosini, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldinho are fit again.
It is reported that Kaka’s condition is also improving, though it remains to be seen what shape he’ll be in by the time kick-off comes around.
