Italy boss Marcello Lippi believes that Milan star Gennaro Gattuso will recover from his knee ligament injury ahead of schedule.
The Rossoneri ace tore his anterior cruciate ligament while playing against Catania last weekend.
Rino managed to stay on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes and it was a shock when scans revealed the severity of the problem.
When a player takes a month to recover from an injury, Gattuso takes 15 days, Lippi told Sky Sport Italia.
He will get back in action after four months and could be available for the Confederations Cup in June.
Gattuso overcame a broken wrist in record time at the start of the season and will hope to repeat the feat.
