Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko feels the Rossoneri need to beat Juventus in order to enter the title race.
The Diavolo are currently six points behind leaders Inter and are preparing to travel to Turin to face the Old Lady, who are also on 30 points.
The game against Juve is important, Shevchenko asserted on the Milan Channel.
It's two of the most successful teams in Italy, and indeed the world, facing each other with the same points tally and will to win.
I think it will be a hard game for both teams. The Scudetto is still a long way off, but we want to win it and we will look for maximum points against Juventus.
Gennaro Gattuso has been ruled out of action for around six months with knee ligament damage.
It was a big surprise to us because he finished the game on Sunday, Sheva said.
I'm sorry that happened to him as he is a leader for us and we will miss him a lot. I hope he recovers quickly.
