The Ennio Tardini stadium, built in 1923, is one of Serie A’s smallest and most English style venues. Its compact nature allows for a vibrant atmosphere.
The ground is named after the club’s first President Ennio Tardini, who laid the first stone for the stadium. Tardini sadly died before its completion. Several changes have been made since 1990 with the stands behind each goal brought closer to the pitch.
Over the 80 years since many changes have been made, the most significant being the addition of the Curva Sud in 1993. Away fans use this section - or at least a part of it - while the Gialloblu’s most enthusiastic supporters run the show from the renovated Curva Nord.
The stadium is centrally placed but the No 8 or 9 buses can be taken from the Parma’s main Ferroviaria train station.
