Stadio Sant’Elia
Address: Via Vespucci, 09126 Cagliari
Capacity: 20,270

Pitch dimensions: 105m x 66m
Location: Cagliari

Cagliari’s Stadio Sant’Elia Stadium lies on a headland just outside the town centre. The ground was first built in 1970 – after the Isolani surprisingly won the Scudetto.

The ground was completely redeveloped when it was chosen as a venue for matches in the 1990 World Cup where it played host to England and Group F.

The Rossoblu faithful occupy the Curva Nord where the tickets are cheapest and create a frenzied atmosphere. The trip to Sardinia can be intimidating for the away fans who are given a small section in the corner of the west stand.
