Opened in 1928, the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia was originally named after Mario Brumana, a Fascist martyr, but is now dedicated to Italy's national athletes.

The Bergamo ground is shared with Serie B side Albinoleffe and has also hosted rugby matches. It is within walking distance from Bergamo’s old and new town centres.

The most vociferous part of the fan base is well known for their left-wing views. Che Guevara flags abound in the Curva Pisani section where the Ultras group, and are replaced by a huge blue and black flag – which covers the entire Curva Nord – on special occasions.
