Unsettled Inter striker Hernan Crespo has been linked with a move to Roma, but his agent doesnt believe a transfer is on the cards.
The Argentine international has stated his discontent at San Siro due to a lack of playing time and has reportedly fallen out with Coach Roberto Mancini.
Despite Crespos indisputable ability, the number of striking options at Mancios disposal will continue to limit his first-team opportunities and rumours recently suggested that the former Lazio man could return to the Eternal City.
I spoke to Roma about Crespo two years ago when Hernan was leaving Chelsea, but then Inter came in for him, agent Fernando Hidalgo revealed on Teleradiostereo.
The Giallorossi have always been interested in him but frankly it is hard to imagine him playing for them next season.
He is under contract at Inter for another year and he is fine with the Nerazzurri.
At the moment I dont think the Lupi will renew their bid to sign him. But if things changed in unforeseen ways, Roma would be an important stage.
Crespo bagged 14 League goals last year, but has scored just four times from 11 Serie A starts so far this time around.
