David Trezeguet has received offers from Barcelona “among several other English and Spanish clubs,” confirmed his agent.
The Juventus striker is likely to leave in the summer after struggling for fitness and a row with Coach Claudio Ranieri.
Now agent Antonio Caliendo has told L’Equipe newspaper that rumours of an £8m bid from Barcelona are accurate, but it is by no means the only offer on the table.
“In the last few weeks we have received several different calls, above all from English and Spanish clubs,” explained Caliendo.
“I replied that right now David is concentrated on Juve and the fight for the Scudetto.”
The agent therefore does not close the door on interest from overseas and invites those clubs to make a formal offer to Juventus.
Caliendo had already spoken to the media this week by revealing that Chelsea were interested in Trezeguet’s services.
“A divorce with Juve could suit both parties,” Caliendo told Tuttosport on Wednesday.
“For the moment David is just concentrated on the Scudetto and trying to catch Inter.
“However, Chelsea and another three important English clubs are tracking him and he has never hidden his desire to play in the Premier League.
“It's a championship that excites him and where he could show his true value.
“We will talk to the Juve directors, with whom we have an excellent relationship.
“They know the situation, but they are also thinking about the title for now. We will fix a date somewhere in the future.”
