Ex-Juventus defender Federico Balzaretti believes his Palermo side can shock his former teammates this weekend. “It’s not Mission Impossible.”
An in-form Bianconeri outfit will arrive at the Stadio Renzo Barbera high on confidence to face a Palermo team sliding towards a relegation dogfight.
However, Balzaretti is confident that the Rosanero can upset the odds as long as they approach the game with the right mentality.
“I have already faced Juve with Fiorentina this season and we drew – this time I hope to do better,” Balzaretti roared.
“It will be very difficult to beat them, but nothing is impossible.
“It will be nice to come up against my former colleagues. I had two wonderful years in Turin and I have many friends there.
“Juventus must be attacked from the off and we mustn’t let them play. It is fundamental that we are aggressive.
“If you sit back and defend against the big teams then sooner or later they hit you with a goal.”
Stefano Colantuono, who returned to the Palermo bench on March 24, faces a striker shortage for the game with Fabrizio Miccoli out and Edison Cavani a doubt.
