Orsi seeks Livorno 'miracle'
Tuesday 29 April, 2008

Nando Orsi returns to the Livorno bench and admits, “We need a miracle to stay in Serie A.”

The Coach started the campaign and was fired to make way for Giancarlo Camolese in Week 7, but brought back today for the final three games.

“I have a debt of recognition towards this club and the President who gave me the opportunity to Coach a Serie A side,” commented Roberto Mancini’s former assistant manager at both Lazio and Inter.

“I am sorry to see the team in this situation. We have a miracle to achieve and will try to put our utmost effort to do so.”

Livorno are currently propping up the table with just 30 points – four off the safety zone.

“I followed the lads and spoke to the Fitness Coach, who told me the overall condition is good,” continued Orsi.

“We just need to think about winning the next games. I expect goals from Francesco Tavano, as he is the one who gives us added value.

“We have to play it one game at a time. Against Atalanta this Sunday we have only one objective – victory. We must only focus on this one match.”

No hard feelings for Camo
Giancarlo Camolese has reacted graciously to his dismissal from the Livorno bench and maintains he will be cheering the Amaranto on from his sofa. More
