Lecce defensive starlet Andrea Esposito has confessed that he would love a move to Roma.
The 22-year-old developed in the Salentini's youth system and has taken to Serie A like a duck to water after a solid season in the second tier last term.
The Via Del Mare outfit's sporting director Guido Angelozzi claimed last month that three of the peninsula's giants were interested in Esposito and the player seems to have set his sights on a bigger club.
“To play for a club like Roma would be a dream come true,” the No 16 admitted to Romagiallorossa.com.
“It is an honour to find out that such a prestigious club are keeping tabs on me.
“However, at the moment I am just focusing on Lecce's bid to avoid relegation and there will be time to think about this at the end of the season.”
Esposito is expected to start in Lecce's crucial encounter with Catania this weekend.
