Fiorentina wide man Franco Semioli knows that this weekend's game with Roma is a must-win.
The Viola missed a great chance to pounce on Genoa's defeat against Lazio as they were beaten by Udinese.
Fans reacted angrily and unfurled a banner at the Stadio Artemio Franchi protesting against the performance and now the Tuscans must beat sixth-placed Roma to keep their Champions League qualification bid on track.
We discussed things in the dressing room and we have a decisive game against Roma coming up, Semioli said in the Corriere dello Sport.
We need the support of our fans. We know that we played badly during the Udinese match but we are also very angry at the missed chance.
We must forget that game by rolling up our sleeves and concentrating on getting a result against Roma. We certainly aren't lacking in motivation.
Fiorentina lead Roma by three points but trail Genoa by two.
