Napoli striker Roberto Sosa will bid farewell to the Stadio San Paolo this summer after four years at the club.
The Argentine hitman was sporting director Pierpaolo Marinos first signing back in 2004 when Napoli bounced back from bankruptcy and restarted from Serie C.
Sosa has played over 70 games for the Partenopei and has become a Napoli hero as a super sub, but he is finally ready to leave Campania.
The decision was made a little while a go, the former Udinese man explained on Radio Marte.
We had been waiting to reach the total needed to ensure survival before we announced it.
It wasnt easy for me, but I felt that it was time to return to my country after 10 seasons, including four marvellous years at Napoli.
Its a life choice that must be accepted. I am a working player and I have always tried to do my best to help young players settle in.
I am happy to have contributed to this clubs rebirth, but at the age of 33 I think that everyone has their limit.
Its only right that Napoli think about other players. But I dont see this as a goodbye but an arrivederci.
