Camolese eyes Milan shock
Sunday 19 April, 2009

Giancarlo Camolese knows Milan are a tough customer, but cannot wait to test Torino's newfound confidence at San Siro.

“It is always wonderful for a professional in this sport to step in to San Siro,” said the man who took over from Walter Novellino.

“This is extra motivation that will help us put in a great performance, as that is the only way to pick up points.

“Milan are a side who do not give you any reference points, as they can all pass the ball around so beautifully. We cannot give them time to think.”

With a win Milan will go into second place, but Toro are also desperate for a result in order to escape from the relegation zone.

“The Rossoneri are improving and have a more important position in their sights, but we must always try to do better and it is the only way we can get the results we need to survive.”

Last week Camolese picked up his first victory on the Granata bench with a late 2-1 win over Atalanta.

He has numerous injury concerns for this match, as Elvis Abbruscato, Eugenio Corini, Andrea Gasbarroni, Marco Pisano, Francesco Pratali, Marco Di Loreto, Nicola Ventola and Paolo Zanetti are sidelined.
