While Livorno are still fuming over refereeing errors, Giancarlo Camolese warns they must face up to their own faults as they travel to Roma today.
President Aldo Spinelli was furious after his team had two seemingly good goals disallowed over the past few weeks in defeats to Cagliari and Sampdoria.
“I have no intention of talking about referees, because I believe in the good faith of the officials, even if those errors were shocking,” insisted Coach Camolese.
“We must not forget that we have made mistakes too this season.”
Livorno are now propping up the table and face the daunting task of stopping a Roma side charging for the Scudetto.
“We have been in this pre-match training camp for three days and had the opportunity to look each other in the eye in a very difficult moment.
“It will be an incredibly hard game against the Giallorossi, but we will do our best and try to win.”
Camolese is without the injured Giuliano Giannichedda, David Balleri and Jose Luis Vidigal, so he is expected to field an audacious 3-4-1-2 system with Alessandro Diamanti supporting Francesco Tavano and Fausto Rossini.
