Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he will be back for the Milan derby and Euro 2008 as treatment for his tendon injury continues.
The Swede went back to his hometown for specialist treatment on the tendon in his knee for at least 10 days and there were reports he would have to rest for two months.
“Returning to Malmoe was the best decision we could have made,” assured the Inter striker who has been out of action since March 29.
“Staying here for a few days with my family close by is certainly doing me good.
“I am not too worried by the injury, as I count on being back for the last few rounds of Serie A and for the European Championships.”
Reports suggest Ibrahimovic will make his peninsula comeback in the Milan derby on May 4.
