Inter stopper Cristian Chivu is in no doubt that the Nerazzurri will hold off Roma to clinch the Scudetto.
The race is finely poised as Roberto Mancini’s men have a four-point lead with five games left to play.
Inter travel to Torino this weekend knowing that a slip-up could be disastrous as Roma host Livorno, but Chivu is calm.
“Of course we will win the Scudetto,” he told Studio Sport. “A four-point lead with five games left is enough.
“This has been a strange season and we have had to deal with lots of injuries and suspensions, as well as dismissals in important games.
“But the most damage was done when we went out of the Champions League. Slowly but surely we have regrouped but it has never been an easy championship.”
While Inter are leading the pack, many critics feel that Roma play the most attractive football in Serie A.
“They said the same thing last year, but the Beneamata are more clinical and are stronger.
“In the end it’s the results that count and not the show you put on.”
