Udinese's Simone Pepe expects an epic battle against Sampdoria on Sunday as both sides fight to keep their Champions League dreams alive.
The Friulani were beaten by Roma last week, while Samp were stunned by Reggina, but defeats for Milan and Fiorentina maintained the status quo in the race for fourth place.
However, both sides know that anything less than a win on Sunday would virtually snuff out their hopes of playing in Europe’s premier club competition next term.
“It will certainly be a great game between two sides who have proven that they know how to play good football,” Pepe claimed.
“It will be an intriguing encounter because we are next to each other in the League table.
“What is certain is that neither side will go out on the pitch willing to settle for a draw.
“Samp’s fixture list is quite tough, but ours isn’t easy either. I can’t really say who has the easier task.
“We still have to play three teams who are in the relegation battle and then we face Milan on the final day, but we are just thinking about one game at a time.”
