New Coach Gianni De Biasi is hoping he can turn around Torinos fortunes, despite a daunting run-in.
The Treviso native replaced Walter Novellino at the helm today and begins his third spell at the club charged with the task of keeping Toro in Serie A.
The side has quality that it obviously hasnt managed to show, he insisted at his introductory Press conference.
We need to call on motivation, pride and personal dignity.
Turin has been an important stage in my professional life. I have done well here in the past and I hope to do so in the future.
The Granata are three points above the drop zone, but they face a savage run-in, which sees them face Inter, then travel to Roma with Fiorentina waiting on the last day of the season.
In the next two games we play Inter and Roma, but we need to pick up points from the off, De Biasi stated.
It will be difficult, but it isnt always the strongest who win in life. We will have to play intelligently and make the most of the chances we have.
The new Coach concluded by briefly discussing his decision to leave Spanish minnows Levante to take the post.
Levante was a difficult but extraordinary experience, he explained. I just couldnt miss the chance to come back to Toro.
In Spain I met some marvellous people, but now it is time to concentrate on the Granata.
