Respected agent Ernesto Bronzetti has hinted that Roma will move for Mallorca striker Daniel Gonzalez Güiza this summer.
Despite their success this term, the Giallorossi have been short of striking options and too much pressure has been put on Mirko Vucinic and Francesco Totti.
The capital club are expected to bring in an out-and-out hitman in preparation for a Scudetto push next term and Bronzetti has alluded to one possible option.
“Roma are looking at four or five players and will surely sign a couple of important men,” he told Centro Suono Sport.
“The Lupi know how to make the right moves in the market and have shown that in the past by cashing in on players to bring in others, who have proved to be intelligent purchases.
“I can’t give names for their targets this time around, but I can reveal that they are European.
“They are certainly looking for a striker and I will pay particular attention to a Mallorca player who has scored 20 goals.”
Bronzetti is referring to Güiza, who has been a revelation this term with the Barralets.
The 27-year-old earned his first appearance for the national side on November 21, 2007 against Northern Ireland and is also reportedly a target for Villarreal and Atletico Madrid.
