Torino President Urbano Cairo is expected to axe Coach Walter Novellino this afternoon and bring back Gianni De Biasi.
The Granata have been a huge disappointment this term and could be sucked back into the relegation mire as they prepare to host Inter this weekend.
Novellino, who arrived from Sampdoria last summer, has failed to make an impact at the club and is reportedly unpopular in the dressing room due to his traditional coaching style.
Press reports insist that Cairo has been looking for a new man to take the hot seat, but has struggled to find a valid option.
The Toro chief has been keen to stress his support for the embattled Novellino in recent weeks.
However, after a terrible 3-0 defeat against Genoa and angry protests from large groups of fans, Cairo is expected to announce Novellinos departure in a Press conference set for 2pm today.
De Biasi is set to return for his third spell at the club. The 51-year-old has been in charge of Spanish whipping boys Levante since leaving Toro at the end of last season.
The former Brescia tactician is likely to lead training this afternoon, making Novellino the victim of the 13th change of Coach during this campaign.
