Reggina chief Lillo Foti has promised that the Calabrian side will fight for survival to the bitter end.
The Amaranto are adrift at the bottom of the Serie A table four points behind Lecce and seven from safety.
The southern strugglers must go on a winning run if they are to stay afloat, but their President Foti is unfazed.
I don't feel that we are already doomed, he insisted. We have everything to play for.
We will only evaluate things on May 29. We are real men and we won't go looking for excuses.
Furthermore we mustn't forget that a few years ago Reggina picked up 12 points in the last four games to stay up.
Reggina's next outing is a tough trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta.
