Ronaldinho seems destined for San Siro this summer, but while Milan announce “it’s all but official,” Inter’s Massimo Moratti insists “it all depends on us.”
Agent Roberto de Assis has been in Milan all week for negotiations with the Rossoneri and confirmed late last night that he had only been talking to Carlo Ancelotti’s club.
Today transfer guru Adriano Galliani made it clear what the situation was. “We have a basic agreement with the player.
“Now we will try to complete an economic deal with Barcelona. They have given us permission to negotiate directly with Ronaldinho.
“Andriy Shevchenko could come along too, we have to talk to Chelsea and see what the situation is.”
However, this evening Inter patron Moratti continued to put a spanner in the works for his ‘cugini’ across the city.
“Next week we will evaluate this possibility. We have an excellent rapport with Barcelona and the player’s management.
“We will see if we too have decided to go all the way in this transfer.”
When told of Milan’s statements assuring only details separated them from an official announcement, Moratti was not fazed.
“It depends on our attitude towards this deal,” insisted the Nerazzurri President.
“Milan are doing well in their negotiations, but the matter is open to us too.”
