Marino rues Udinese errors
Sunday 13 April, 2008

Udinese Coach Pasquale Marino is disappointed at the defeat after his team had been dominating Roma.

“They got a better start, but then we found our feet and created some great chances,” he said of the 3-1 result.

“We definitely improved in the second half and took the lead, but we wasted the opportunities to put the result under lock and key.”

Antonio Di Natale had put Udinese in front before the Giallorossi fought back to turn it all around.

“Roma were able to make the most of their chances and we were not. I am happy with the performance, but certainly not with the result.”

Udinese are the only side this season to have emerged unbeaten from two games with Inter, but it’s Roma who are still trailing the Serie A leaders.

“Of the two teams I think Inter forced a tougher performance out of us, but Roma created many, many scoring opportunities,” mused Marino.
