INTERNATIONAL
VENUE PROFILE
Trent Bridge
The ground was originally home to both Nottinghamshire Cricket Club and Notts County FC before the cricket club purchased the site after the First World War.
It has undergone extensive building work in recent years starting in the 1980s with the construction of the William Clarke stand and the Larwood and Voce stands. In 1996 the club
opened the impressive new stand at the Radcliffe Road End which is three storeys and includes excellent press facilities and a banqueting room for 200 people. It also includes indoor nets
and a gymnasium.
The ground is pleasant and one of the most attractive Test match stadiums in England. The character of the ground has been kept despite the extensive building work in recent years and
the only downside is the poor provision for cars on the site.
