Home to Gloucestershire, the ground is fringed with trees and features an Edwardian pavilion. Ground serves as a general sports complex with tennis and squash courts. Entry is via the Grace Gates, named after the legendary Gloucestershire and England player WG. A new stand has been added over the past couple of years and further expansion is planned. Hosted the first ever day/night one-day international in this country when Zimbabwe played the West Indies in 2000.
