CV: Directs Test cricket all year round, working for Sky Sports in New Zealand and most recently directing the India versus West Indies series over the winter. Joined Sunset+Vine in 2000 after five years with BSkyB where he graduated from interviewing fans outside football grounds to producing and directing live cricket. Is a keen cricketer who plays for the MCC, Stoics, Cricket Writers' Club and The Woodpeckers.
Career highlight: Played for Kent II and English Universities as a hard-hitting batsman and leg-spin bowler. Also claims to have hit a 24-ball hundred (although we can't decide whether it was on Sega or Playstation2), but definitely DID captain Channel 4 to victory at the 2002 AMP 6-a-side tournament at The Oval. Once described as "The best player of s**t bowling I've ever seen".
Extraneous: One of several West Ham United supporters on the crew gripped by the thought of actually supporting a decent side again one day.
Most likely to say: "Top totty".
Least likely to say: "Fancy an early one?"
Not to be confused with: His father Brian (a football and cricket journalist of note).
