Cricket CV: Slow left-arm spinner who led England to the semi-finals of the World Cup in South Africa earlier this year. Named Vodafone Player of the Year in 2002, and was awarded the MBE for services to cricket in 2004. Also captains Sussex and Brighton & Hove LCC
Extraneous: Teaches PE and English at her old school Brighton College, for whom she played 1st XI cricket in the school's boys team for two years, where one of her team-mates was the future Wasps and England rugby union player Alex King. She became the first woman to play in the Cricketer Club when she represented Old Brightonians. Recently voted this website's Face of 2005.
