Rikki Clarke doesn't appear too concerned about his charge following the Dhaka test
Rikki Clarke fined for outburst

Lewis Hare

Rikki Clarke has been fined 50% of his match fee but escaped a possible ban for using foul and abusive language during the first test in Dhaka.

Clarke was reported to the match referee Wasim Raja by the third umpire for a string of expletives that the young all-rounder directed at Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahman.

Rahman twice edged the England debutant through third man during yesterday's afternoon session, leading to Clarke's ugly outburst.

Clarke met with Raja following the end of the test to recieve his punishment. There had been fears that with the ICC keen to stamp down on such incidents Clarke could have faced a ban.
