Q: What are the highest and lowest team totals in Ashes history?

A: The highest total is England's 903-7 declared at The Oval in 1938 when Sir Len Hutton scored a then world record 364 and the hosts ran out winners by a staggering margin of an innings and 579 runs.

The lowest total is Australia's 36 all out in a rain-affected Test at Edgbaston in 1902, when Wilf Rhodes claimed 7-17 but the match still ended in a draw.
