Miranda Krestovnikoff
Miranda studied zoology and her passion for wildlife led her to learn to scuba dive to discover the wonders of life underwater. Before Wrecks, she presented programmes with sharks, turtles, manatees and dolphins. Check out her website: www.mirandak.co.uk

Favourite shipwreck?
I think the Stirling Castle, for sheer amount of wreck left.

Best ever diving experience?
The Swan, as the experts allowed me to do hands-on archaeology. And because it was only 10m deep, we could stay down for nearly an hour per dive.

Scariest Wrecks moment?
Very little went wrong as we had a fantastic team of commercial divers looking after us. I suppose diving under the ferry route in Guernsey was a bit scary. I had images about being mashed up by a propeller!

What do you think Jeremy does whilst you and Jason are diving?
I know exactly what he does – I have photos of him sleeping on deck while pretending to read up on the history.

Where was your best seafood meal during the making of Wrecks?
It was sharing a huge seafood platter called a 'seafood symphony' (oysters, scallops, langoustine, mussels and crab) with director Fred Casella.

If you were shipwrecked and could take three items with you, what would you take?
My Swiss army knife for everything from a knife to a nail file, waterproof matches and a fishing rod.
