Dive support
The behind-the-scenes dive support team, Diving Services UK, sorted out the dives and made sure everyone was always safe and constantly supplied with tea! The main team was Dave Shaw, Guy Drayton, Peter Harcourt and Justin Hanning. Jess and Rob also stood in when needed.

Diving Services UK has worked on a number of films including Bond film The World is not Enough, Tomb Raider I, The Mummy and Saving Private Ryan. It is currently working on the set of Tomb Raider II. To see what else they've done, check out the website: www.divingservicesuk.com

Dave Shaw answered a few questions on behalf of the dive team.

Best dive?
The first dive on the Stirling Castle. It's renowned for being a tricky dive site and the viz was supposed to be pretty bad. The gods shined on us that day and the dive was great.

Scariest moment?
Can't think of one, except maybe when Jase approached us with the idea for Wreck Detectives!

Is it harder working with TV people rather than commercial divers?
Yeah, much harder. We're used to dealing with the pressures of diving, but there's added pressure with cameras around. I hate being in front of the camera!

Who won the production team vs divers football match?
Divers obviously. And no major injuries to report, except I cracked a rib.

Who did they enjoy working with the most – Halle and Pierce on the Bond set, or Miranda and Jason on the Wrecks set?
They're worlds apart really. I'd say Jason and Miranda because we got to know them better.
