Why should you win
Superhuman? |
I should win because I have achieved to a relatively
high level in several different areas of my life and wanted to test
myself in other areas. I also want the experience to inspire viewers
to try new challenges and to realise that everyone has Superhuman
capabilities if you are willing to find them inside yourself. |
| What makes someone Superhuman? |
A determination,
passion and courage to go beyond their comfort zone in order
to excel. Also they must have humility and a sense of humour. |
What was being on
Superhuman
like? |
It was a great
opportunity to test myself in some new situations and to
learn about my strengths and weaknesses. It was also wonderful
to compete against so many other talented people from different
walks of life. |
| Favourite Test |
Fearlessness. It meant facing up to my worst fear (heights)
and by overcoming it in such as positive manner made my confidence
soar. |
| Worst Test |
Attractiveness - there was no opportunity to be in
control of the outcome because the photos that were used were taken
without our knowledge that it was for this purpose. In every other
test there was an element of being able to influence the outcome but
in this one the outcome was determined by a third party (people voting). |
| Superhuman Lessons |
The impact that focus, visualisation
and self-belief has on your performance. That by working
together rather than being very individual and sharing tips
on how to tackle a test can enable everyone to excel. You
can all still be competitive but sharing knowledge allows
everyone to gain and do that bit better. |
How has life changed
since Superhuman? |
It has given
me some great stories to tell my friends! |
How to become Superhuman |
Never give up,
keep focused and work together rather than against each other
if you are in a competitive situation. |
And Who's your ultimate
Superhuman? |
The yachtswoman
Ellen Macarthur. She demonstrates a passion for her sport
and has tremendous resilience, self-belief and resourcefulness.
The footage from the Vendee Globe race showed these qualities
along with her humanness, in the tough situations when she
cried. She also inspires many other people to follow their
dreams. |
