Scrapheap Events

Series 11 Event Days

Scrapheap Challenge is on the road! With Dick Strawbridge at the helm of the new-look series, now in its 11th season, the show will be coming from events all over the UK.

Scrapheap Challenge heads for Beaulieu
Historic 13th-century Hever Castle in Essex, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, welcomes Scrapheap on August 16 and 17. We’ve taken our inspiration from Hever’s annual weekend jousting competitions for a wacky take on medieval challenges. See Dick’s Diamonds in action against six teams who’ve built jousting machines and, on Sunday, discover if another six teams have got what it takes to trounce him with their versions of medieval throwing machines. For further information please go to www.hevercastle.co.uk.

Series 10 Event Days
On August 23 and 24, Scrapheap is in Scotland at Blair Castle, ancient home of the dukes and earls of Atholl. Nestled in Highland Perthshire, the castle is hosting its International Horse Trials and Country Fair. Dick’s Diamonds are gunning for glory against six teams challenged to build boulder-tossing machines. And, in tribute to Scotland as the birthplace of golf, another six teams take on Dick and his team in some monster golf challenges. For further information please go to www.blair-castle.co.uk.

Come and see Scrapheap Challenge in action on Saturday August 30 at Bristol International Kite Festival. Against a background of amazing aerial spectaculars, six home teams will be competing in the mayhem and madness of Scrapheap's particular version of blow football. Dick Strawbridge's team will be vying for glory at Ashton Court, Bristol. For further information please go to www.kite-festival.org.uk.
