Snow Shifters
This challenge, the first of the semi-finals, tests the teams' engineering capabilities to their limits. What could be better than an uphill, snow-clearing challenge?
They must build super snow shifting machines that are capable of racing up a 10-degree slope in temperatures of -4C. They will have to successfully clear the huge snowdrifts that stand between them and the finish line.
The semi-finalists are the Aquarium Crew, victors in Scooter Shooters and Rocket Railway, and the Dark Riders, champs of Dune Bashers.
