Snow time
To test their incredible machines, the teams will have to race their ice-shifting vehicles up a 10-degree slope, in temperatures of -4C. They have to clear three snowdrifts that stand between them and the finishing line. The team to cross the line the soonest wins. During valuable tinker time, the teams get to work maximising the traction on their machines before the race begins. |
