Crossbow design takes shape The Balloonatics and their expert Todd have opted for a medieval approach. They aim to build a huge crossbow with leaf springs and two powerful rams. After a slow start to the scavenging, the scavengers return with a small amount of spurious metal. But then they discover an old rubbish truck. The rams at the back of the truck are used to crush household waste. They could provide the muscle to compress the leaf springs on their huge crossbow design. |
