The Rusty Regiment's design The Regiment intend to build the scrap equivalent of a rigid inflatable boat (RIB). They want to use oil drums for flotation and a ski-like hull, which will form a plaining surface to lift them clear of the waves. A large car engine will be the power source, but petrol engines and water don't mix, so the team have to get the fine details right to float their boat. |
