The Bright Sparks' design The team are designing by the book, building a classic hovercraft. A lightweight hull will support a single engine, providing both upward lift and forward thrust. Air will be channelled down to a segmented skirt, made of lots of bags sewn together. It’s great in theory, but they are relying on scavenging light materials and a small but powerful engine to build their hover beast. |
