The Teams
Turbo Taxis
Our first team of have-a-go heroes are taxi drivers from Portland in Dorset. While their working lives are spent sitting down there'll be no idling time during this challenge. Captain Herman 'The German' will be in charge of scavengers Dink and Matt, both keen bike and trike enthusiasts.
Cement Mixers
Revving up for the opposition is a team who know all about being outdoors in chilly weather. They're a trio of builders from Beccles in Suffolk, led by mouthy Captain Everton. Drinking tea and scavenging for scrap are Mark, who previously rebuilt two Delage sports cars, and Sam, who's into bodybuilding, bikes and keeping his hair nice.
