Our judge ‘Stridey’ lives and breathes skateboards. As a slalom racer, downhill racer and street luger for 30 years he knows exactly how to get the best out of a board. He is currently UK slalom series champion and also runs Octane Sport, Europe’s leading supplier of racing skateboard equipment.
The Extinguishers' Expert – Lenny ‘The Luge’ Stocker
A welder and fabricator by trade, Lenny got the bug for street luging three years ago when a friend asked him to make a luge. Since then he has built many custom-made luges and races them across the UK as often as possible.
Steaming Scots' Expert – Tom ‘No fear’ Worseley
A keen skater, luger and active member of the UK Gravity Sports Association, Tom is a trained mechanical engineer who has previously plied his trade on oilrigs but currently works with particle accelerators in Oxford!
