Judge – Hugh Edeleanu
We liked judge Hugh so much when he visited the heap for Diggers in series five that we’ve invited him back! Hugh is founder and chairman of HE Services, the largest excavator hire company in the UK. He has more than 1000 machines digging all over the UK and also handles a JCB stunt team known as the Dancing Diggers.
The Extinguishers' expert – Ken Campbell
Smiley Scot Ken is a heavy plant engineer who spent 10 years in the army as an armoured vehicle mechanic. He’s used to building and fixing all manner of earth moving machines and when he's not shifting earth he likes to unwind with a spot of rock climbing.
The Beach Bums' expert – Mark Robson
As manager of Diggerland in Durham, expert Mark spends a lot of time playing with diggers. He doesn’t just know how to drive them though, this Geordie lad is a qualified mechanical engineer who previously plied his trade in the construction industry. So keen was he to take up our earth moving challenge that he came straight to the 'heap from his honeymoon.
