Judge and Experts
Judge – Pete Williams
An esteemed old-school, multi-engine motorbike builder and racer, Pete has devoted most of his life to his sport. He started sprint biking in 1964 when he was 23 and was in the top three fastest sprinters in Europe by the time he was 27, riding the legendary double-engined motorbike 'Two-Faced'. He was the secretary of the National Sprint Association for nearly 13 years and recently raced Two-Faced again to raise awareness of his other ongoing projects, which include a land speed record attempt and another Kawasaki drag bike.
Turbo Taxis' expert – Graham Sykes
Graham owns a precision engineering company in Northallerton, Yorkshire, by day and races a 5-litre V8 drag bike by night. His bike is the biggest competition bike in Europe but he has never passed his motorbike test! As a child he once wheelied his pushbike for 2.5 miles and only stopped because he got bored. He’s also represented England at skateboarding. Other hobbies of his include long-distance cycling (up to 100 miles in a day) and old motorbikes.
Woof Justice's expert – Les Harris
Les is one of the UK’s foremost drag motorbike sprinters in the Super Twin Championships. When he’s not racing he is a scrutineer at drag events, checking the safety of other riders' drag bikes. His day job is servicing and building Harleys, though he was forced to admit he’s worked on the odd moped too. If that wasn’t enough he’s got the coolest beard to be seen on the 'heap in years!
