All over Britain, classic vehicles, from tanks to vintage cars, and from boats to steamrollers, are rusting away in barns, back gardens and garages. Channel 4's Salvage Squad takes on the challenge of restoring these vehicles.
Comedian Lee Hurst and the Squad, Claire, Jerry and Axel, face the challenge of putting 10 dilapidated classic vehicles back together in time to show them at a big event.
While the Squad members tackle the hard, dirty and technically demanding restoration work, Lee Hurst explores the history of the vehicles. He discovers what has happened to them and the people who used them over the course of their long lives, and finds out about the traditional skills that are needed to repair them.
See what the Squad achieved in Series 2 and how they're doing in Series 3.
