In desperation, Bear tries an old army trick – he makes a dew trap. He puts palm fronds and rocks in a hole about a foot and half deep. Overnight the rocks will cool down and when the sun comes up in the morning, the air temperature will rise faster than the temperature of the rocks. Any moisture in the air will then condense on the surface of the rocks. It might only be a drop but every little is worth it. |
