Bear's Feats
The SAS Years | New ChallengesIn 2005 he hosted Channel 4 series Escape to the Legion, where he took a group of unruly young men to the Saharan Desert to undergo the French Foreign Legion's infamous basic training.
He took on the spirit of survival for the first Born Survivor series in 2007, when he dodged the alligators of the American Everglades; kept himself alive and unfrozen on the icy summits of the Alps; and captured himself a juicy rabbit for supper on the plains of the Sierra Nevada.
In 2007 he decided to take one long last look at Everest, from the air. In Mission Everest, Bear and his friend Giles Cordozo soared up and over the mountain strapped to flimsy parachutes and with engines in backpacks!
As though that weren't enough, Bear has decided to take on even tougher challenges for his 2008 series of Born Survivor!
